As many of you have read in my threads – I like to think outside the box, and that is exactly what this technique is about. As you know you can try 100 different things but just 15 will work very well for your business, this is one of those things that work in many ways. Here I am going to outline some applications for the offline world, but it can have many more applications.

We were doing some “Benchmarketing” or seeing what the competition was doing in the social media area, our main goal was to find keywords that can rank high in Google thanks to the social media high PR. Meaning this:

The niche we were working on was an offline furniture store. The first thing we did was find a tool that would allow us to look for available usernames and we found this tool

In a split second, after watching the results we realized the REAL power of this method!!!

The applications I am going to outline here are part of the case of this case of study.

• We realized that our competitors where not very active in the social media arena.

• Many of their key terms were still available in many social media places.

• You could “hijack” many keywords they were not using.

• In some cases you could appear above them in the search engines with the proper username (example: twitter appears above many websites that are competing for the same phrase, because twitter is indexed almost immediately and has a high PR)

As you can see this is very powerful knowledge, this does not have to be blue fart if it is used properly like in reputation management. You claim your clients name in different social media areas and push down the bad press, this technique is like a knife that you can murder someone with, or you can perform a great operation and save lives.

Everything depends on how you use it, these are just tools that can be used in several ways, so use it properly.

As many of you I am part of the warrior forum and I read this post that is more than a year old it is called 9 Ways to Make More Money with IM, read it, it is worth it, the writer of the post (Celeste) says that these are the 9 ways to make money:

1) Make them feel emotionally happy.
2) Fix an annoying problem they have.
3) Teach them how to do something.
4) Make them feel better or more physically attractive.

5) Make them feel safer in the day or night.

6) Make them laugh or help them find happiness.

7) Satisfy their needs, either nutritional, or human needs such as physiological or sexual.

8) Teach them how to make their life easier.

9) Help them reach their biggest dreams and goals in life.

Besides the awesome humanistic side, these 9 points have a deeper meaning, from my perspective these are the main desires that need to be satisfied no matter how old you are, what technology you use and what century you are living in!, there are timeless money makers.

Think about this for a moment, lets take as an example from the first point “Make them feel emotionally happy”, no matter how rich you are, how successful you are, you can always be happier so here the question is How can I help the biggest number of people to be happier? Can I make a funny youtube video? Can I make a magic show? Can I make a compilation ebook about the best jokes?

I have read many threads in the Warrior Forum about people asking how to make money, everybody asks me how I make money online, but what just a few people are asking for is How can I be more useful to more people? How can I solve one of the 9 points mentioned above? Once you are able to solve those needs the money will follow.
